Due to continued growth, Ankr is now looking to recruit a Social Media Associate, who spends excessive time on Crypto Twitter, Instagram, Reddit, and Discord.

As part of the Marketing team, you will work closely with the Ankr Social Media Manager to create high-quality copy and graphics to raise awareness and educate current and future Ankr users. 

This role is essential; as someone who will be writing copy for and publishing on our social media platforms, you’ll play a part in dictating what the Ankr community of users are exposed to. As such, it’s imperative to have a solid grasp of the nuances of cryptocurrency and communication.

What you will do:

  • Learn and understand the Ankr brand voice and communicate appropriately on behalf of it
  • Assist in developing promotional social media plans for product releases, event presences, content publications, and moreto engage the Ankr community.
  • Generate ideas and create content for Ankr’s various social media platforms, including Twitter, and Instagram
  • Brainstorm ideas for campaigns surrounding announcements
  • Co-host Twitter Spaces 
  • Help create and streamline social media processes and procedures
  • Gain an understanding of what other crypto/web3 brands are doing on social media.

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of running socials with a sizeable audience (25K+ followers on Twitter)
  • 1+ year in the crypto ecosystem is a plus
  • Ability to articulate technical concepts
  • A sense of humour coupled with a sense of decency
  • Strong familiarity with crypto Twitter
  • Excellent communication skills
  • EU-based is a huge plus

  • Leverage data to build action plans around rapid response and influencer activation, collaborating with comms and executive social lead

Total Compensation Range (Base + Equity): 85k-160k per year

Our compensation package currently breaks down into a base salary and an equity component for all employees. The candidate’s seniority and the evaluations made of that candidate during the interview process determine compensation.

Who You Are

What you will be doing

Lead a team of social media managers, content creators, and community managers. Design/test/scale new social media campaigns to drive follower growth, Develop and implement social strategies that drive community engagement and increase Gate.io brand awareness and user acquisition. Conceptualize, categorize, visualize, edit and execute every piece of social content that goes out. What we are looking for

5+ years of work experience in social media management and/or strategy in crypto exchange, Web3, Online gaming, Mobile Games Experiences with Social Marketing and Brand creatives, with global experience, working on expansion and global scale. Strong analytical thinker. Proven ability to work in multidisciplinary teams with copywriters, designers, customer support, product managers, etc. Creativity in finding new angles that resonate with our audiences Strong English and Chinese communication skills, both written and verbal
