A bit about the role:

We are looking for an experienced engineer to help us build better experiences for our Web3 developer customers. As innovation in Web3.0 continues at a relentless pace with growing competition, it is critical for us to use data and experimentation to build experiences that stay ahead of our customers’ needs.


You will have the opportunity to:

Design and build prototypes to power acquisition and engagement experiments Lead the development and delivery of the Immutable Martech stack across the developer platform, including data and tracking, lifecycle communications and lead attribution platforms. Alongside the Dev Growth team, be measured on the continuous improvement in developer customer conversions throughout our funnel, and the total number finding success in launching and growing their NFT projects. Understand and be able to identify trends and opportunities in Martech solutions in web2 and web3 environments Work cross-functionally with Group Engineering, Group Product and GTM Integrations to ensure organisational engineering standards are maintained. Play the role of the “Developer-in-residence” and champion the developer customer’s needs within the Dev Growth team and the broader GTM / Immutable organisation. Configure and implement tracking solutions such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Facebook Conversion API and other ad and attribution tracking tools Configure and implement communication / CRM platforms such as Braze, Hubspot, Autopilot, Vero, Salesforce, Mailgun or other CRM and communications platforms Configure and implement A/B testing tools such as Optimizely Configure and implement data services tools such as Segment, Amplitude, Mixpanel


We would love you to have:

Technical competency (3 - 5 years) : You have built, implemented marketing / growth tech solutions across multiple environments previously. Examples include Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Segment, Braze, Autopilot, Hubspot, Salesforce, Optimizely, Branch, Appsflyer, Facebook Conversion API, Tune, Adjust etc

Growth / “Hacker” mindset: You’re a full stack developer that prioritises launch over perfection. You also look at a combination of off-the-self solutions, your own code and manual processing to find the quickest path to proving out a solution via a prototype before you invest further. You are comfortable balancing fast-ship experimentation culture with future scaling/tech debt considerations

Natural problem solver: You look for ways to creatively solve problems with out-of-the-box thinking and looking at competitor solutions. Copying solutions rather than designing from scratch where possible.

Excellent technical communicator: You have great experience convincing other technical stakeholders or team members on why your architecture is sound and why they should accept and adopt it.

Accountability & autonomy: You operate independently, are comfortable making and being accountable for important technical decisions, and are motivated by an internal drive for excellence. You are the subject matter expert of your craft and level-up the teams around you. Great front-end development skills (HTML, CSS etc) Great at building web apps by putting together various off-the-shelf solutions (GitHub, Wordpress, Firebase etc)


Some extra skills that would be awesome:

Built a business and understands the growth problem Has worked at a vendor (any included in this description) as a solutions engineer, preferably working with startup clients Crypto-native or a strong interest in crypto / NFTs

The Developer Growth (Dev Growth) team within the GTM (Go-To-Market) function is responsible for exactly this - growing and enriching the experience of our developer customers.
