Head of Engineering - Web3 MMORPG

We are currently building a 2D Web3 MMORPG game full of action-packed battles, NFTs and amazing places to hang out with friends in the metaverse.

About the Role:

We are looking for an extremely technical individual who will be a part of the base team and be a jack of all trades. They will be in charge of handling engineering tasks related to scaling and continually building our MMORPG game and operations. This will involve some solidity, Unity game & web3 app development, smart contracts and DevOps/security measures.

We don’t just want a problem solver, we want someone who likes to question, create, and dream. This role will require a lot of hands-on work but is a pivotal engineering leadership role in our company.

Requirements:

· Expert level experience/knowledge in game development using Unity game engine (2D) with C#

· Proficiency in HTML/CSS, React/Javascript, Solidity

· Experience with libraries like ether.js & web3.js

· Deep experience/knowledge with smart contracts (ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155)

· Deep experience/knowledge with blockchain/web3 best security practices

· Deep experience/knowledge in Web3 app development

· Prior full stack development experience

Nice to Haves:

· Enthusiastic about MMORPGs or RPGs and Web3

· Experience shipping browser-based games

· Experience in a fast past environment/startup

· Prior experience leading a team (or managing)
